Also, one of the perks of living in a college town are the speechs and presidential candidates making rounds here. This morning we got up to see John McCain speak and I was impressed with what he had to say - esp. in response to some of the questions by undergraduates who had not thought out what they were going to ask. I just like the feeling of being an informed voter.
Yesterday, I had a little Target Therapy. I enjoy perusing there because it relaxes me. However, I got a little bummed when I saw all of the great Christmas decorations and knowing we won't have a real tree on our first Christmas. I'm kind of ridiculous about a real tree, no fakes here - for real! But, I picked up a few holiday things to cheer up the house and myself! Here's one thing I love about Christmas - the gift bags! Is it just me or are they getting more clever and cute every year? My mom and I often re-use our favorite bags to each other because we don't want them thrown out. I'd love to think of a cool and creative craft to do with Christmas gift bags...Hmm.
We also unloaded four or five huge trash bags worth of clothing to Goodwill. It feels good to clean out! Now, onto the desk area...yikes. Trying to clean out before packing because I think that will make our lives a tad bit easier
Picked up a new pair of Champion yoga pants at Target. The beauty? They are bootcut and come in petite (and long) lengths now. Makes a lovely difference in workout gear to have it a little more tailored. I think they are a great buy for $20.00!

Onto other things I'm loving at this moment - Restoration Hardware. I like their Christmas decoration but I really enjoyed their couch selection. The choice of fabric alone makes me happy - I like the variety and style. But what I really loved was this ottoman. Pricey but I love the idea of a having a fabulous print on this style of ottoman. Putting this on the 'furniture I would love to have one day list!'
That's it for now.

I'm glad you posted those pants-I've been looking for some for a while. Now the question is, will they keep you warm? I know it sounds random, but I have been walking my dogs at around 7 when it gets chilly here in Atlanta. My legs feel like icicles from the wind chill. That's what I've been looking for-comfort and protection acgainst the wind chill! :)
Tar-jay does a body good every now and again.
