I have a busy week ahead so perhaps not as much posting but I'll probably (definitely!) will make time to read.
I have to get ready for our trip next week (which is really a 5 day weekend) and for the first time board our pooch! We've always had friends and family to take care of him and this is new. I'm a little emotionally distraught but also worried because I didn't realize that these places filled up! Like, I need to be confirming a reservation ASAP. Yikes!!
I need to figure out how to post my camera phone pictures to the internet. Which, I'm guessing, would require me to add internet service to my phone (which I'm planning on doing) but it would also require me to get to the Sprint store. I try to avoid the cell phone stores at all costs. I'm constantly snapping away now and have some funny ones to share.
Speaking of funny photos, I believe we brought a little hillbilly to our new home this weekend. We've been looking for a couch forever. Finally, FINALLY, found one we both loved that would be our precious life long couch. From this designer. Just out of our budget at the moment. Credit card debt > couch happiness. BUT, we know what we want and it would be custom ordered (gee, expensive). In the meantime, we are dropping off some things at the local Goodwill on Saturday. Which is buzzing with people and clean. (Big difference from some I've been to). And filled with treasures! What do we see? But a couch in IMPECCABLE shape and with the lines we like. Impeccable as in my neurotic self scanned and sniffed, one tiny stain but otherwise, very well taken care of! The fabric = Grandma style (which I enjoy - not hating on the grandma's but not our personal taste). We have an armchair that was P's grandpa's that has the same lines and we've been planning on getting upholstered. This couch has a wingbacked look and would be fabulous for a formal living room in a great fabric. Done and Done. $60.00 later and we are the owners. Long story short, P got called to work both days this weekend* and didn't get home until we had an hour to pick up said couch. What does one do with leftover moving rope, ratchets and blankets? Strap old Grandma couch to the hood of the car like regular old hillbillies and drive the 1.5 mile verrrryyyyy slowly home. It was a spectator sport. And, I had a bluegrass cd in the car and we cranked it up. Oh, god I was laughing so hard!
**Speaking of weekend, not really so much because P was called into work both days, really figuring out and solving other people's problems. Personal life peeve = when hard work is not appreciated. I went in with him Saturday to help him write a professionally bitchy email. I mean, us English grads, what are we good for besides being able to write professionally bitchy emails and long blog posts!? Right? :)
Have a good week!

I am glad you found a couch you like! Have a nice week!
Hi! Came upon your blog awhile and like to read every now and again. :)
As for your pictures on your phone, go to sprint.com and in the search engine type sprint photos. It will redirect you to a sight where on the right hand side you can click on a link that will help you create a log in so you can see your phones on the internet. Then you can play with your pictures and email them....I hope this helps a bit.
I love those designers. I once read an article about them & Lulu (how adorable) in a Doctor's office. Up until now, I had forgotten about them!!!
CONGRATULATIONS on finding the couch! What a steal! I love to find treasures like that!
And, yeah, about the hard work and no appreciation= BS. Way to help the man write a professional bitchy email. You have to take care of #1!
That sounds like a great find!
