Whew

We are here! Somewhat settled, somewhat living amongst chaos.
The holidays have come and gone (I hope everyone had a lovely and safe season!!). We rang in the New Year with chili, football and bourbon drinks - not too crazy but just how we like it. Oh, and a little snowfall!

The past two weeks have been hectic and exhausting but exciting as well. We traveled hundreds of miles, unpacked, made a Christmas Eve trip to Target (WHY??) because we didn't have a shower liner or lamps for the upstairs (why you would build a townhome w/out lights in either upstairs bedroom is beyond me...!), eaten Subway way too many times to count, made an 8 hour trip with a puking dog in the backseat (poor guy!),attended a wedding and consumed way too much Diet Coke & Starbucks. All in all, things are good and we are really enjoying our new place within walking distance of a renovated downtown (small) but with adorable shops and restaurants. Ralph, who has the spent the last week with my parents (getting SPOILED beyond reason) is back with us and happy as a clam.

Full recap and posting will resumed later, hopefully this week, including trips to the outlets, a NC wedding, our first Christmas and the official (and desperate) job hunt!!
In the meantime, we are continuing to unpack and settle right in. Seriously, I cannot stand boxes and un-organized rooms, like drives me crazy, so I'm on the maniacal mission to get it done.

2007 was a crazy, busy and fabulous year! I'm looking forward to the next steps and 2008.
I think it's gonna be a good one :)
