Hello there!
My hope is to be UBER productive this week in beginning to study and writing the thesis again. I really need to jump right back into it and finish this bad boy up! Also, I think I'm going to try to sub in our school district as a way to make money and gain some experience. I believe I have a plan. I think. Based on my experience in the school district, I'm probably going to take some classes to become certified. I been wallowing in the fact that I could kick myself for not getting a graduate degree that included certification (b/c I can't really get hired without it - which is a whole different issue, in my book) but that's life, ain't it? I'm hoping to get a specific idea of things and put it to work this summer.
Also, I'm really into watching the primaries for the 2008 Presidential election. I think politics is one of those touchy things to discuss but I think we can all agree, no matter who you're giving your vote to, this race has everyone tuning in and listening - which is great!
In the meantime, a meme.

I did the subbing thing when I was just getting out of college. It was a good experience.
Oh, I like the first day of Warmth too, what a nice choice.
Family Stone was not cheesy! I loved it and I LOVED the house most of all.
P.S. My hubby wasn't so thrilled either with it - he said "this was a chick flick"....lol.
Have you considered teaching at a private school? Many of these don't require a credential, just a Masters.
Looking back through your posts, I LOVE Kiawah. I used to go every Spring Break with my parents. Dragged DH and daughters there for three of our last four spring breaks as well. Plus, driving into Charleston for all those phenomenal restaurants!
I too wonder when I will be done being a student.
Hehehehehe... #23 made me laugh out loud.
